Changed on GOV.UK

Accessibility statement · 25 August 2026

The record should work for everyone.

The service is designed toward WCAG 2.2 AA: it works with a keyboard, uses semantic added and deleted text, preserves visible focus, and does not rely on colour alone.

What you should be able to do

  • zoom to 200% and reflow the page on a narrow screen;
  • navigate all controls using a keyboard;
  • skip directly to the main content;
  • distinguish additions and removals through labels, markup, and decoration;
  • use the core record without JavaScript.

Current status

Automated checks and manual keyboard, mobile-reflow, and reduced-motion checks were completed for the first release. A formal audit by disabled users has not yet taken place, so we do not claim full conformance.

If something does not work

This is an early public preview. A permanent contact channel will be added with the branded domain before formal launch. Until then, the official GOV.UK page linked from every record remains the accessible, authoritative source.
